what motor oil is recommended for the 454,10w 40 or ???? and for the tranny dexron 2 or what. thanks ------------- Mark 84bare12" |

Mark, The PCM manual in our ref. section is a 1989 but I'd say it would be the same as a 84. It,s on page 18 and it calls for straight 40w.
