I need the space for fat sacs and would like to cut them out. Wondered whether anyone has done this or if anyone knows whether they are structualy important, i cant see that they are. Any advice? I've seen several without them and several with them. The vertical panel is screwed on as well as the rear vertical panel in front of the gas tank. It shouldn't be that hard to remove just be care when trimming the shelve that is glassed to the side of the haul. Grind to much and you have a soft spot on the side of the haul.
