Is it just me, or is it really annoying when someone cross-posts the same question on like 4 message boards? I've probably done it at some point in the past, but still. It seems like you should let one forum have a chance to answer the question, and if you don't find what you're looking for, THEN post on another forum. Thoughts?

Joel,
Cross posting doesn't bother me as much as some of our members cross dressing habits (pink barefoot suits come to mind)!!
I would have to say that some people are in a hurry for answers. We do seem to live in a hurry up world at times.

I get a kick how some people act like this is a paid help service.

I agree completely. Actually, the other thing that just really gets me going is when somebody has an issue with their boat that just died on sat. morning. Then they get pissed when nobody answers them by noon with detailed instructions on how to fix their boat so they can be on the water again by 1PM! More othen than not, it's also their first post. I can be a pretty patient guy and try to help anyone to the best of my knowledge, but that scenario just gets my blood boiling.

i do it usually i post a problem over here and my brother post one on the2001. but i agree with the thing about wanting really fast answer or people who ask something and everything you tell them i doesn't think is the problem

It only truly bugs me if it is one of those rare instances where I have the answer to the question and feel strangely compelled to cross post the answer.
But doesn't generally bother me unless they are cross posting the question throughout different folders on the same forum.

By the looks of some of the barefoot suits I've seen on this site, it is holly probable that there wood be some cross dressing by a member or two.
