AMAZING SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES

ADD ANY MORE THAT YOU BELIEVE ARE APPROPRIATE

1. AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF WHEN SLICING VEGETABLES BY GETTING SOMEONE ELSE TO HOLD THE VEGETABLES WHILE YOU CHOP.

2. AVOID ARGUMENTS WITH THE FEMALES ABOUT LIFTING THE TOILET SEAT BY USING THE SINK.

3. FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUFFERERS ~ SIMPLY CUT YOURSELF AND BLEED FOR A FEW MINUTES, THUS REDUCING THE PRESSURE ON YOUR VEINS. REMEMBER TO USE A TIMER.

4. A MOUSE TRAP PLACED ON TOP OF YOUR ALARM CLOCK WILL PREVENT YOU FROM ROLLING OVER AND GOING BACK TO SLEEP AFTER YOU HIT THE SNOOZE BUTTON.

5. IF YOU HAVE A BAD COUGH, TAKE A LARGE DOSE OF LAXATIVES. THEN YOU'LL BE AFRAID TO COUGH.

6. YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

7. IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

DAILY THOUGHT:

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

Doc
I did cut & paste it BUT you weren't on the distrubtion list. So can I be guilty of "plagiarizing" something I never read?

It has been a while since I felt that lovingly bashing each other on this site... I really missed it...
Thanks Adam for bringing that great feeling back!

Adam,

Please think through this a bit. By all accounts from folks who have met you, you're a great guy. But, I don't believe you've ever met Boat Dr., and I don't think you've met Quinner or Hollywood either. Yet, some of your "humor" goes a bit far in my mind, and apparently in the minds of those to whom it is directed.

There's a fine line between humor and inappropriate personal attacks, and that line get's much thinner when you've never even met the man or woman to whom it is directed.

A definite misunderstanding! There's never been any intentional malice here, that's not me. Just a bit of good ole CCFan ribbing. I have nothing short of admiration and respect for guys like Pete, Eric and Boat Dr. I am in awe of the knowledge and experience that these guys have, and am astonished that anyone could know so much. Their expertise has proven to be invaluable to me and countless others. Believe me, I know nothing about boats, I barely know which end is up and would be the last person to critize anybody. I know everyone is tense with all the crap that is going on these days, but everybody's got to lighten up. Laugh a little, life's too short to take anything personal. I have no ill-will for anyone in the CCFan family, especially the Boat dr. BTW any HW observations are a response to Jbear being asleep at the switch, he's been slipping lately.
No, Boat Dr., I'm gong back up north anytime soon, I'm living the Canadian dream:
1.) No snow
2.) I don't have to winterize the boat
3.) I get to own a gun
4.) Cheap beer

Hey Adam, good note.

Things don't always translate well on the internet. Sometimes people say things the wrong way, sometimes people take things the wrong way.

I think this forum just tries to monitor itself so things don't get out of hand. Not always, successful, but typically it works out pretty well.

My Regards,

BKH

So true...no tone of voice or facial expressions.
