The fuel guage on my 93 SN is not right. Regardless of the amount of fuel in the tank it usually shows completely full, but will occasionally flash to empty for a moment. I obviously need to replace something, but I don't know if I should start and the guage and work from there or start with the sending unit and work forward. Any advice would be appreciated.

Chris,

Have you pulled out the back seat yet and the boards and check the corrosion on the wires on the sender unit attached to the tank?

I had the totally opposite problem, read empty all the time but would bounce a little, till it was really empty.
