I know it would be expensive but has anyone installed teak flooring in there boat after doing a stringer job. I sure like the way it looks in the Paragons! And in yachts!

Mike,

There is a thread showing where one of our members installed teak cabin sole in his boat. I'll see if I can find it and come back with a link.

This happens to be my opinion so don't take it the wrong way but to me a major modification like that seems very out of place. I've seen many a boat that has been modified because the owner though it wood look good. I've seen 60's boats with retro 30's windshields, vinyl decks replaced with wood and yes wood on floors that did have some type of floor covering removed to name a few. I think you should be looking for a Paragon or the yacht!!!

BTW, CC didn't make very many Paragons! It was a beautiful boat but most buyers wanting a wood boat want the real thing.

Not taken the wrong way , I realize that it would be all scratched up from ski's and dinged up from my anchor as well, I am pretty hard on stuff sometimes and I know that other people entering the boat, wouldn't understand teak and do more damage than I would. I think it looks great but carpet is more realistic, can take the abuse and still look good.I couldn't afford a paragon when they came out I can just imagine what one would cost now, although I think they are a fine boat.
