Well, we're now less than one month out from the /reunions/northeast.asp - 2008 CorrectCraftFan.com Northeast Reunion taking place in Lake George, NY on September 12-14.

I can confirm that Dave Hendricks, Customer Care, Correct Craft, Inc. will be in attendance. Ken Meloon, Chairman of the Board Correct Craft, Inc., is doing his best to be there as well.

If you haven't heard, we'll be revealing the /ccfboat - 2009 CorrectCraftFan.com Special Edition 196 -- which we'll be skiing, riding and footing behind all weekend! There will also be other demo boats from Adirondack Marine including a Super Air Nautique 230, and 210.

We'll also have demo skis and boards from Adirondack's pro shop.

Raffle prizes will include certificates from PCM, ACME Propeller, a SDBM from Tachyon Motorsports, swag from Nautiquegear.com, a Precision Kayak and clothes from Teva courtesy of Neil and Paige Totman, Nautique trailer guide pads courtesy of Regal Connection, an Accuheat heater from Heatcraft, and much, much more.

Make your plans now to join us in Lake George this September...

Hey. Up to 68 attendees and 23 boats, not counting the CCfan Special Edition Boat. These North East guys might actually make a run at Green Lake for the Big Dog of CCF Reunions.

I will not be surprised that these numbers will double before the event!!!

The fun has only just begun.

I have spoken my peace, prove me wrong.

P.S. Billy I know you want to drive this boat, I can hear it in your voice!!!

If you get Billy on that boat you better make sure he doesn't have any tools with him or you may get the boat back without the smog stuff and without the muffler.....and whatever else he can to to give it that old school sound.

Maybe we could send him and tim out and see what it comes back like?

IT'S TIME TO TURN UP THE VOLUME!!!

Posted By: lfskizzer
Date Posted: August-22-2008 at 3:38pm
Hey Dave,

Yes we do have have to pump the volume up. I have a question though I live near Candlewood Lake which houses Candlewood East Marine, Brookfield, CT which I believe has been a nautique dealer for 20 yrs if I am correct. So I am wondering how to get nautique owners that are not on the site to join us up in the Northeast Reunion. I know that Adirondack Marine is the sponsor and I bought my boat from Ken last summer. So let me know what I have to do or if you can get in touch with Candlewood East to see what they can do to promote nautique owners to this awesome reunion.

Thanks
-Phil

wouldn't call it a new event since it happened last year just not at this lake, but I would think a flyer would do the trick and circulating them to the area nautique dealers to post might get the word out but it's getting to be a little last minute and maybe too late.

Maybe Dave could create a nice electroinc version to send out to them, might be quicker and might get their attention coming from him.

Hi Bruce,
Yes, raffle prizes are for Reunion attendees (five tickets come in each registration packet). Attendees can purchase additional tickets Friday-Saturday night. The raffle will be held on Saturday night and all winners will need to be present to collect their prizes.

Looks like we have a lot of new folks from NY/VT attending. Sure would be nice to get those boats in the diaries so we could see what they're bringing along and it's easier to remember who's who. Only takes a few minutes to set up a diary listing.

UPDATE - The rooms being held at Marine Village will be release on Friday, September 5. If you haven't booked your room yet, please do so before then.

Also, can I get a rough count of who is looking for overnight dock space? We have room for at least six at Marine Village and Ken is securing additional dock space and we're trying to get an idea of how much space we need.

Thanks,

Very true joe 4 hrs is gold I have put 60 hrs on our boat this year and hope to put by the end of the season a total of 80 maybe. Hoping boat traffic is down to a minimum to get some skiing and wakeboarding in Friday to warm up the muscles for the weekend. Is anybody leaving there boat in water during the meetup Friday 4pm at Marine Village? Thats why I said wait but knowing your boat and many other boats have alot of stuff done to theirs.

Don't know the layout well enough to know if the rest of the show/gathering will be close enough to the dock for some people to leave thier boats in the water and still have them be seen or not, Keith may chime in. Pete was the only one who refused to put his boat in the water the day before the show that I know of at GL most will pull and wipe down quick (or not) before the show. With the current state of my trailer I would be best left in the water but unless its close I would definitely plan on pulling it out for the show every boat in every state of life is of interest to this crew.

Sounds good to me thanks. Then after the gathering I am guessing anyone who is planning on having there boats in over night will go to Adirondack to launch their boats again?
So like I said we will be in town around 12 and whoever is around we will see you then.
Thanks again.

Fellas,
There are two options for launching. Adirondack Marine and Million Dollar Beach both are an equal distance from Marine Village (about a mile). Million Dollar Beach is located in Lake George Village and is a free launch after Labor Day with parking. It's a great launch with docks. The only restriction is you have to go under a bridge that has a clearance of 7 feet. Those of you who want to pull out at night and make the clearance with boat and truck I would recommend this option. I would be happy to provide directions and more details. It can also be Mapquest'ed "Million Dollar Beach, Lake George NY.
Adirondack Marine is happy to help launch people and there will be parking for trucks and trailer in designated areas. The launch has a bit of a pitch to it and can be tight. Again someone will be there to help.
For those of you leaving your boats in the water for the weekend you can launch at either locations and bring your trailers to our service area which is about 1.5 miles from either launch.
Marine Village will have plenty of room for boats in the parking lot so feel free to bring your baby home with you if you are pulling it out at night.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me on my cell (518)260-0391.
I would like to get an idea as to how many dock spaces I will need by Tuesday, so keep them coming and let me know who wants to keep their boat in the water and who is pulling out.
Thanks and btw 7 DAYS LEFT.....sorry Dave just thought I'd beat you to the punch. You've been lacking on your count down and one liners :)

Any issues on LG? If so, and knowing Reid is going this year, he can make some test runs!!

"Mufflers: No person may operate a motorboat without a muffler or one which exceeds noise level standards (86 dB on an "A" weighted scale) with a muffler. Operators must submit to testing when requested. Muffler cutout devices are prohibited which allow the noise level to exceed 86 dB."

I'm super happy that everyone going will experience the same amount of new friendships, meet some of our factory friends as we've done in Green Lake. Keith, Brad, and all that had their hands in the organizing : amazing job !!!

LAKE GEORGE PERMIT ANNOUCEMENT

It has been mentioned that Lake George requires a lake usage permit. Thanks to our friends at Buxton Marine from Lewisville, TX (yes, Texas) the lake permit fees will be included with your registration.

The permits will be handed out on Friday night when you receive your registration packet (please have your boat registration handy). Please note: If you are planning to put your boat in the water before Friday at 4:00 pm, than you need to pickup your Lake Permit at Adirondack Marine beforehand. You are required to have your permit in your boat at all times while on the water. Again, there is no charge for registered attendees.

A special thank you to Buxton Marine for being an event sponsor all the way from Texas!

Hey guys,
As it stands it looks like Marine Village is now full for dock spaces. This includes Reid's party barge and Mustang. There may be a couple more spots opening up and I'll know more tonight.
We do have additional in-water spaces available and they are on a first come first serve. They are located about a 1/2 mile north of Marine Village at a resort called the Boulders (which is where we may be staging things for next year, if you all want to come back)
So keep the dock requests coming and we would like to have them finalized by Thurs a.m.
Thanks - Ken

You won't regret it.

Well, maybe on Monday when you get back to work, but cross that bridge when you get to it.
