Hi guys,

I am new to this forum and I come in desperate desperate mode. I have been running an Air Nautique for quite some time but recently, it ended up under water for a few hours...

The boat obviously running condition was significantly affected. We did change a few components to fix the problem such as transmission, electronic box... but now we still have some major issues to make it run properly.

In iddle or reverse, the engine goes high in RPM but in forward gear, the engine significantly lack power (roughly 60% of total power). There are no correct craft local dealer in the region and all mechanics who looked at it can't figure out the problem. ANY INPUT IS GREATLY GREATLY APPRECIATED.

THanks in advance
Mehdi

what do you think it may be? fuel related? electronic related? what does it seem?

I don't think it is fuel, we checked and all seems right in that regards. I suspects electronics...

Are we talking a little water over the floor or sunk? What happened?

And welcome aboard!

What engine is in this?

When people run down to the lake to see what's making that noise, you've succeeded.

OOP's. Just read the title again.

Depending how wet this thing got, it could be any number of different things. There have been numerous posts about the high pressure and low pressure pumps in these motors that are suseptable to failure. Of course, that's with electronics that haven't been flooded that can compound the problem.

If you're in Morocco is it safe to assume that this was also salt water flooding?

sounds like it spent some time completely under water and that's not good for any of the sensors on a computer controlled motor, why replace the tranny, should have flushed it along with the motor.

in a couple years time with salt water you can cut into a wire 6ft. up and you will find green corrosion, it will creep up the wires
