Guys,
I want to refresh both the gas stuts for the dash cooler cover and the gull wing observer seat on the 96'. Can I find these parts locally, or do I need to order them through correct craft...
Damn dash box cover is like a snapping turtle.....

Thanks
Dave

should be able to match up the length and connection style and get them where ever unless it's some odd ball length that is specificly for them only.

Dave,
Go to http://www.mcmaster.com - Mcmaster Carr and put in "gas strut" in their search. You'll find all the sizes, lengths and all the ends available.

Local Napa dealer can find them for you if you take in the existing. They can usually have it in hand the next day with no additinal charges.

Got mine at Napa. Upgraded to the 40lb version and it's been great for 3 seasons so far.

Dave check on the shock it's selve as it might be labeled to the size and pressure rating. that way you know the minimum rating to get.

I replaced mine last year. I think upgrading the lbs is a good idea.
