Hello,
Just wanted say nice site you guys have here,
Recently traded in our little jet boat and purchased a 1978 Ski Supreme, that we have been enjoying almost every weekend this summer.
This site was recommended to me by a friend of mine from one of the Turbo Buick forums.
I hope to learn a few things here and meet some new friends

Welcome Phil. You'll take some ribbing for owning a boat other than a CC. Most of it is good natured. There are members here with Centurions, Bu's, Supremes, American Skiers, Supra, and others. I think you'll find the site a good source for keeping an old boat in running order. BKH

Welcome Phil. So far as I can see you are even on the scale....on one hand you drive a Supreme (nice lookin' one tho)....on the other hand you are a Ford Tech...so that goes in your favor.

Glad to have you here.

Welcome fellow Texan. Buxton Marine is on the north side of Dallas (Lewisville). Godfather, that's about as far as Orlando to Augusta, GA. However, I drove there to get my CC--great folks.

I agree w/HW, what about that Buick?

Ever see any orange "Street Performance" decals on any Buicks? That was the guy who lived next to the ice rink where I grew up, always loved checking out the 10+ TRs & GNs in his driveway. That red Regal is pretty cool, I'll have one again as my daily driver.

Dave: I usually try to keep stuff like this to myself, but I had such a bad experience with the folks here in Houston I would do most anything to avoid them. Talked with Phil on the phone several times before driving up to Dallas and when I arrived I found everything exactly like he said on the phone (which I think is extremely rare) and ready to go. Great people indeed.

Park Ridge, IL. He trailered a blue one with dual white racing stripes a lot, the rest were sleeper/stock looking GNs.
