Talk about a guy with a project...!!
We were talking amongst some colleagues at work about boats and boating projects. My colleague told me about a documentary he saw on TV about a french guy who build a replica of the cruise ship " The Majesty of the Seas" in 1/8 scale in his back yard... He spent years building it... to make a story short, take a look at this: http://pagesperso-orange.fr/bernard.joannes/bateau.htm - The Mini Majesty of the Seas . OK, a lot of it is written in french, but the pistures speak for themselves! "Amazing" is the word that comes to mind... What's even more amazing, is that this guy never went to school and learned to do all this by himself... welding, electrics, interior, the whole nine yards! Also take a look on the links on the bottom of this page about loading the boat and putting the boat in the water... And we thought we had projects in our back yards...  ------------- - Gun control means: using BOTH hands! - Money doesn't make one happy, but when it rains cats and dogs, it's still better to cry in a Porsche than on a bicycle... |
