Joe,
Is there any of the graphics still on the boat?
I'm asking because I don't know of a graphics file for the sides. (transom yes - check out the misc. reference section) The original graphics were paint and not vinyl. You can go original with the paint or do vinyl but in ether case, a full size tracing of the original graphics is needed. The sign shop will scan it to use for a paint mask or the vinyl.

The plastic CC script is available here: http://shopwhitelake.com/cocrnaem.html - white lake marine
These are black - They are painted white (use one of the spray paints designed for plastic) and then the tops of the letters are wet sanded off exposing the black leaving the white sides just like the original.

The decals (you should need 3 pair) flag, AWSA, amd the CC 1925 are available on line. I personally have the "since 1925" decals if you are interested.

How bad/good is the boat? Stringers? Gel coat? Engine? We'd love to hear more as well as see some pictures!

Pete, this is not necessary- Stan C has replicated the original white/black emblems and sells them here on the site. I got a few sets a few months ago and they're spot on compared to the originals. The black/silver look quite a bit different up close, and the mounting holes dont line up.

Peter I have found a guy local here in Jacksonville that will make the Ski Nautique with striping to match the original out of vinyl. (about $500.00) I still need the others. I got the boat that was in Bradenton Fl. on correctcraftfan. The gelcoat is in good condition, the stringers and floor have been replaced and the engine is a 350 chevy in good condition. The graphics on the side has been re painted with non correct script so it is coming off and on with the new. Please send me the info on the other decals. I will post pictures as soon as I figure out how to. I tried to put my boat above my name but couldn’t get it to post

Thanks again for all your help

Joe,
When I did my Tique, this is where I got the 3 (pair) decals. http://stores.ebay.com/Mr-Furys-General-Store_Marine-Boats-OB-Motors-ETC_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZ17QQftidZ2QQtZkm - decals I however found out that the since 1925 decal was 5/8" smaller in height and width. It wouldn't cover the shadow of the virgin white gel coat color and no amount of wet sanding/buffing could blend in the new and old colors. This is why I had the decal reproduced in the proper size. If you run into the same problem, I have the "since" decals. BTW, his decals are printed off his home printer so the inks aren't the best UV protected.

The sign shop you found - what is he using to reproduce the original graphics? Since your boat has had the graphics changed, you can't trace it - a friends boat?

Go with Tim's recommendation with Stan C's emblems. I'm wrong in always thinking that White Lakes were the same 70's plastic only in black. I'm sure Tim is correct that they are rather the early 80's black/chrome type.

Joe and Scott,
Did you contact the guy I provided the link for? He is the one I got the 3 decals from but just doesn't have them listed in his store.

Joe,
I wish I had known Woody had them!!!!
The CC decals, are they the 1925/1976 or are they the generic "since 1925"? Are they the larger size?

Joe,
You know I'd love to see the pictures - we all would!! Can't pass up on taking a look at a restored CC!

Sounds like Woody's decals are the same reproductions found elsewhere and aren't the OEM's. I can tell from the sizes. Since you painted the hull you won't have the same problem I had with the gel color under the original.

If you get a chance, take a look at the color registration on the "since" decal. If it's off on the borders them they are all from the same printer.

Woody,
If your "since" decal is roughly 4.75" x 6" then you used the wrong one or as a pattern!!! We are talking about the 70's "since" decals and not the downsized 79/80 version. Also, keep in mind that a original would be year specific and not the generic "since 1925"
The complete story is in this thread: http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=5368&KW=1925 - "since 1925" decals . The thread includes one of many pictures out of the CC brochures showing the CC decal was larger than the flag.

When I talked to White lake regarding the smaller size, they confirmed the change. They also had problems with trying to hide the virgin gel color that was under the original larger version. They too tried to find the larger ones.
