Interesting question, perhaps he:

Ran off to San Francisco with HW.
Is visiting Lucho in Argentina.
Has been re-hired by GM to design a new distributor less distributor.
Was eaten by a large woman.
Been too busy with his new job as an anger management counselor.

Eric probably gives me as much 'grief' on here as any, but he means it in good humor and I do my best to serve it back to him!

That said, brunstucky boy has been in the top group of those who have offered me help, and if $1200 is the average...I got a pretty good deal. I would guess that my 10-18 was a bit over average and I had hard part damage.

I know I'm not alone...let's play nice!

FWIW Chris, you're in the same group.

just been busy at work don't really have time to listen to the same old all of the time. How many times are you guys going to chat about oil and filters and wedge plates and use OEM this and OEM specs that. BULL S hell if every one did that then you would never have had EdelBrock, Lucus Oil or the dozen other company's that lived with an open mind and not some redneck narrow minded southern thinking.

Now wait a darn minute...It is the redneck NASCAR types that think out of the box. I do however agree with the same ol' same ol' comment. But not every day can come across entertaining unless threads just like this one don't take on a life of there own. I truly do not beleive any of the jabs taken were anything more than individual senses of humor. More over it would not have been near as good if they had been directed at someone with a tender sensibility

I agree with Chris on this one, quite often after market products, even though cheaper, exceed the quality of OEM but not always...you have to pick and choose carefully.
By the way, a topic like this IS all in good fun and great entertainment as long as nobody takes it too seriously. My 2Cents for the day
