Mark here's some VW's,not all of them just the ones special to me.
My 1st one,'70 about 1973, graduation present
'62 dunebuggy I built about '74
'68 baja bug I built in '78
2nd '70 around '77
motor for '70 and after '70 sold used for the summers in the '68. 88mm bore 76mm stroke 291 duration 430 lift cam, dual 40mm webers, ported and polished heads etc
And sadly my never finished '55 oval between remodeling house, restoring my MGA, boating, kids just no time

Gary, awesome man!
I especially like the '68 Baja bug and the '55. Any plans of restoring that little beauty in the future?
Over here the Beetle is still a very popular car with quite a few clubs. Every year there is a big VW reunion on the market place in the town next to ours... Definitly some real beauties to see there.

Kristof, unfortunately it's long gone. Now days your better to buy one that someone else spent all the money to restore.I don't follow the VW scene anymore but I know Europe is a hot bed of activity for VW's.That one was an European model,it had the semifores in the door posts, which the US ones did not.
Here is the last car I ever did,it kind of cured me
