What software can the vector files in the reference section be accessed with? ------------- _____________ “So, how was your weekend?” “Well, let me see…sun burn, stiff neck, screwed up back, assorted aches and pains….yup, my weekend was great, thanks for asking.” |

You should be able to "view" it in Microsoft Word. You won't be able to print though.
Open Word and click on Insert. Click on Picture From File The dialog box will open. Choose Ecapsulated Postscript (*.eps) for file type. Find the eps file that you want to view and double click on the file name that you want to import. It will only print to a postscript printer. Have a great weekend! |

If you want to edit an eps file you'll need either Illustrator or Coreldraw.
With Illy you can open it directly but with Corel you will have to import it. There are other programs like word processors that may be able to import eps files but you won't be able to edit them. If you have the full adobe Acrobat program(not the free downloadable reader version) you can open an eps file as well. If you need help and don't have what is required email the file to me and I'll convert it to whatever format you need. ------------- You can’t change the wind but you can adjust your sails |

Vector files are used in vinyl plotters. It's when an image is converted to an outline which the cutter follows. Some of the files in the reference are not very clean, they have bumps. One of the ski nautique files, one side is good and the other is rough. A regular picture files such as jpeg, tiff etc. are bitmaps, little squares of info. A vector is smooth and can be enlarged to any size without messing up the resolution.
