So much for the 100 degree rule. I can assure you this water isn't 64 degrees. Took this pic Friday as the ice storm was winding down. Gives me shivers just thinking about it.

You wouldn't believe how warm a thick, proper fitting wetsuit is with booties, gloves and a a hood.

None-the-less, there are two things I'm willing to ride at that temp.One is a snowmobile,the other is NOT a surfboard...........

I used to work with a guy that surfed all winter. They're even out there when it's well below freezing. Does not look like fun to me.

Almost time to take a dip with my fellow polar bears. (nothin' but shorts) it's only cold for a little while. It looks like they'll have to cut the ice again this year.

Only one better way to start the new year! (and you'd better do that first)
