Everytime i looked at the pics of new props i was drooling at the prospect of getting one just for the flash look of them. The other day after polishing the silverware (it was raining) i looked at the product and had a brainwave, polish the prop, and then proceeded to polish the rudder too.
I took pot scouring wool, and silver polish and got to work under the boat- man the result is awesome, all the old build up came off (a powder like residue) and revealed a beautiful pair of hardware, will post pics.
Really worth the effort if you are crazy about the look of your boat (even underneath). Will buff it now.
Anyone else done this yet with similar results?

You can definitely get them looking great, the trick is getting them to stay that way.

Would it help to put a coat of wax on it after you get the shine?
