As you asked for on the phone, here's a picture of me and the cast on my arm:
Insurance still hasn't paid for the damages and my race bike is still at the repairman...
A few more weeks of patience and it will come off...
As you can see, it isnt easy to type with that thing on my arm

Kristof,
I see you're viewing a interesting site!
Good luck with the insurance company and the arm too.

Thanks...quick service I'd say. It was very cool to talk to you this morning. I was at church for our monthly food handout, called Angel food and all my buds there thought it cool that I got a phone call from Belguim. They asked "how'd ya meet him" so I told them "on the internet" and they all gave me "that look"! You could have been real nice and included Chantal in the pic.
CQ: Have you gotten my phone messages?

Yep, got hit by a car on a cross point.
The nice lady in the car got completely blinded by the low sun and hadn't seen me coming...

Well John, maybe I'm not a nice guy
Guess I'm just egocentric and want all the attention to myself LOL

Kristof, I'm glad you didn;t get hurt worse than that, sounds like you were lucky.
John, that look you get about meeting people on the internet is pretty funny. When the boys and I went to NC to get the Classic, I spoke to my daughter whose away at school just as we were leaving. She asked where we were staying. I said Reid's house. She said "you're taking the boys to NC and staying at some random guy's house you met on the internet"? I said he's not a random guy, he's Reid. She was really hammering on me. It was pretty funny.

Kristof- I have two cousins in your area(well- within a couple hrs drive). One is south of Amsterdam and the other is on the border in Luxembourg. The guy in Luxembourg is retired from the Airforce and is working for Nato. We were all set to come over there and had arranged a factory delivery to drive around for a month but the economy has squashed that plus my wife has now bought North American. It always amazes me when I hear that my cousins live in one country, kids in school in another and run off to France to do some shopping.Life sounds pretty good over there!
Anyways-Good luck with that boat

Riley,
You're right, all in all I'm very lucky to only have a broken wrist.
Doug,
That's indeed not far away from me.
I have four countries within a two and a half hour drive
And, Luxemburg is an even smaller country than my already very small country LOL

Bruce,
I got a kick out of your daughters reaction too! You're doing your job teaching her to be cautious about meeting people on the net but you should have said something like staying with "uncle" Reid. When she asked what part of the family he's from, then said the CCfan family!!!

John, I think Laurie told me that story. Pretty funny. Keith certainly started a great thing.
Pete, I keep telling my wife and daughter that we've got some family trips to Wisconsin and FLA we've got to take.

Kristoff, if you have a hard time riding a bike, how do you manage to ski?
Kristoff de-virginized me to texting, i sent my first text to him, not a good idea while driving

No cars with distracted drivers texting to people on the water... Less chance getting hit by one there
