I need a new cover for my '87 2001. I have found multiple websites selling the appropriate item.    But they all note that the cover extends over the swim platform. Does anyone know if covers similar to the orignal design (i.e. do not cover the swim platform) are available?

Thanks!

Not sure if you're still interested, but I own a 1986 Ski Nautique with 2 custom nylon boat covers. They both came with the boat, and I'd be willing to part with one of them. If you're interested, please let me know and we can talk cost. These are both identical, a royal/navy blue and do not cover the deck.

Hey Big Mike,

I have an 86 also. How much do you want for a cover. I am having to store mine outside and need to cover it up. Is the cover good for outside storage? And do you think it will fit over my pylon?

Have you checked the Sundura covers? Ski-Limited carries this brand.

I bought mine from Overtons, It's been very durable but it's finally starting to wear out. My next cover I get is gong to have the cutouts for the fwd bumpers on the nose. the cover I have now is tough to get over the nose if the boat is tight against the bumpers.

Hey "new86owner":

Does that outboard motor mounted on your swim platform give you a better holeshot?
