Folks,

Does anyone know if it is possible to do a walk through the Correct Craft factory? I'm flying down to Florida to visit my uncle and between the two of us we have 3 Correct Crafts. I would love a look at how they are put together. Might kindle some interest in a new one too, you never know...

Any advice or contacts would be appreciated.

Yes, they do tours. I saw a thread on here a couple of weeks ago and a someone said they had recently gone. They also mentioned that they were not in production that day but the tour was still pretty cool. I am not sure but i think they are only in production two days a week. I would try to go on one of those days.

Zonour,
I just took a tour a few weeks ago in January. I went on a Thursday and they were not doing any production. If you have a choice I would go on a Tuesday as I believe they should have all lines running. Be sure to take your camera (charged) as the place is really out in the sticks and nothing close around should you need to get batteries, etc...

Good luck.

Farmer,
Yes no camera's but I wanted to take some pictures of the outside of the place and some of the signs on the way in. I needed batteries for our camera and thought I could swing in a Walgreens or CVS or at least a Walmart would be close by to grab some. No dice. Thus, all I had to take away from our trip was some literature, some business cards, and some shirts for the kids and my wife. Would have loved to take away a new boat to but that will have to wait.

Steve

Yeh,they are out there. We had a group of wild pigs cross the driveway not too far from the guard shack. Didn't expect that!

Especially if they aren't even building them on Monday. Fridays also.

We went on Tuesday. Larry Shea spent a few hours showing us around, from the mold shop through the upholstery shop. It was very interesting and I thought well worth going down there for.

Thanks for the information everyone.
