Ok I have almost the whole floor out with 6 bags of soggy foam.
What is everyone using to cut the flooring at the stern of the boat? I have a 92ski and with the sloping stern it makes it very tight in the area behind the gas tank.

Yes. Most of the rot was in the area of the drivers seat and observers seat. Both of the sub stringers a totally gone, the main stringers are rotted about half way through just in the area of the pylon. I will try and add some pictures.

Paul,
What have you been using in other areas? A small (4&1/2") right angle grinder is handy to get into tight spots. In extream tight spots like corners, a die grinder (Dremel) will get in almost to the corner. You can put a friction cut off blade on ether. Several here have been using the diamond cut offs and are impressed.

Pete,
I just found my die grinder in the back of my
toolbox. This will work perfect. I have been
using a 4 1/2 grinder with a metal cut-off
blade. It seems to work really nice with very
little dust.
