How do you guys change your own Engine oil? I know from my dreded "mercruiser" days the dipstick tube went to the bottom of the oil pan & you could pull the oil out there. My PCM tube don't seem to reach that far....

The best way is: get a Fram, oil drain quick disconnect for the thread size of your oil pan, when draining the oil, run the hose out the bilge drain, and into a drain pan under the trailer. As for the filter, I use a cut off milk jug with the handle still on, and place it next to the stringer. loosen the filter a little till all the oil drains out, then unscrew it all the way, let it fall into the milk jug, pull it out with the handle.
