Installed a 6 inch twist deck plate in floor area by captain's chair. Works well as a garbage bag holder, stuff a bag into opening and fill... And yes there is a limit to the garbage size and quantity. (IE cans) Its that monkey trap deal where a monkey places his hand in a jar to grab a treat.... but cant get his hand out while holding the goodie. Not a perfect idea but served me well so far.

Like your choice of carpet. I am putting the same in my 66 cuda. No side carpeting on 66 cuda so just floor covering.
Any suggestions for me ??

Critter Yes, Use the carpet glue that is solvent base, (IE DAP Weldwood outdoor carpet glue or BEST brand outdoor carpet glue) the other style is water base. It may be fine but great results with the above mentioned...   And also add a large amount of sharp razor blades. Cutting the bottom of the carpet is the best, however sometimes you need to cut from the top and it will either cut or pull/rip the carpet and make a mess if the blades are not sharp. Next problem is the placement of the black trim pieces (If applicable) Still fighting this one (As seen in the Photo) but I will percivere and let you know the trick. Hope this helps. Bob

Thanks very much for the tips Bob.
If I get to my trim pieces this weekend, I will post a picture of what I came up with.
