My year 2008 boat, a 206, is fitted with the standard Nautique Cruise Control, which has stopped working. Was working okay this morning then packed up suddenly, tried switching on the cruise control on the steering hub, but no go,removed the unit and checked the 3V battery and that registers good voltage. Checked the wheel under the boat, not damaged and spinning freely. Turned all power off thinking maybe that would reset but no go. Boat is used one day a week for couple hours otherwise it's on a trailer under cover. Appreciate any advice on what to look out for to solve the problem. Thank you

Don't know if it will help but I had some telephone test equipment that would not work,it has a 3v button battery in it also and when I checked it it showed 3v. Gave up and sent it in to be fixed, turned out to be that battery.

Thanks Gary S, I'll swop out the battery since it's cheapest and quickest first 'port of call'.
