I'm trying to change the impeller on my 1998 - New to the maintenance scene. Can't find anything on here (or anywhere else) with info on the process - Does anyone have any guidance on this. I'm not sure even where the impeller is located other than somewhere in-line with the pump. Thanks.

swc,
Take a look in the reference section for your engine manual. It's pretty easy to do but describing it may be confusing. You know the old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words - the manual should have some pictures. If no luck, come back and we'll try to describe it.

I'm sure there is something around here somewhere, or someone will put a tutorial together. In the meantime, here is a pretty good one that someone posted on http://www.planetnautique.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=13929 - Planet Nautique
