Posted in wrong forum- I'm a newbie, what can I say.
92 Supra Sunsport- PCM 1:23:1 transmission-want to change trans oil. Plate on transmission says                 SG 20 20 W motor oil (same as manual). Car Quest carries SAE 20 but not SAE 20 20w. It looks like the boat shop I purchased it from has used tranny fluid (pink/red).   What should I use?

Eric,
I'm guessing same answer for my question -'95 SN w/ GT-40 motor. 1:23:1 tranny. Dex/Mercon 20w for mine as well? Thanks in advance. ~Peter

You want Dex/Merc (or Dex III) ATF. Eric and I like Valvoline. Dont use synthetic. Avoid high mileage formulations if you can.

Only the very early production 1.23 boxes specified 20w oil.
