I requested a price quote from nautiqueskins.com on my 1992 SN. They do not have the pattern for that model. Looking at pics, they look the same as the 93. Does anyone know if they are the same?

There are a few differences between '92 and '93. On the '93, the observer seat corner cushion and combing pad are one piece. The rear seat bottom is 3 small cushions instead of one. These could easily be installed on your '92 if you redo the wood bases. The only piece that gets a little tricky is the observer seat bottom... the '93 has a curved edge on the drivers side. I added this cushion to my '90 so youre not constantly bumping the corner of the seat when you get in the drivers seat. Going to this style would require cutting the corner off your base and reglassing it so that it doesnt stick out further than the cushion. Other than that it would work fine.
Alternatively, check and see if they have the patterns for a '91. I dont know of any changes between '91 and '92. '90 would also be very similar, with the exception of the combing pads (they dont go down to the floor in the rear).

Thanks for the reply. Sounds complicated...makes my current skins look better and better! Thinking about just replacing the motor box cover. That is what looks the worst. Is it the same as the 91?

The motorbox would have been the same 90-93. Make sure you get samples- matching color and grain to the original pieces can be tricky! I opted to replace all of mine. Like I said, '91 should be the same as your '92, and '90 is very close as well (which I KNOW they have).
