I do apologize again for violating forum rules. That was never my intent.

Thanks,

Bob

Bob,
Every once in awhile we get commercial business's like yourself post solicitations who can't read and follow the rules. You sure fit into that category!! If you missed or are simply ignoring the rules governing commercial sales, here is what our sites administrator/owner has to say:

"This forum is for individual sellers of Correct Craft related parts only. No commercial sales allowed in this forum. Interested commercial sellers should contact Keith@CorrectCraftFan.com."

It's in the "for sale" section of the forums under the thread titled "selling parts - please read".

BTW, it looks like you need to do some adjustments to your pattern on the SN pictured. Needs some tightening at the windshield area!!! Hopefully your other 7999 patterns are better.

His point is that you should contact Keith (who runs this website) if youre interested in advertising your products here. Only individual sellers can list ads for free.

I have had great service from a different supplier - Skiboatcovers.com . The folks there are very courteous, great service, have patterns for tons of Correct Crafts and the covers were put together better than the ones I received from the Correct Craft Dealer.

www.skiboatcovers.com did my Excel, Air206 and SkiTique covers.....all very different hulls - some with tower cutouts, some with platform covers and some with skirting and all are GREAT covers!

If I were you, I wouldnt start insulting any of this forum's established members! Some are understandably defensive about the website- Keith puts in a lot of hours to maintain it, and no one likes to see the rules abused. Im sure you didnt mean anything by it- but you wouldnt be the first business trying to drum up free advertising here.

Personally, it sounds to me like hooking up with Keith and CCFan could prove to be a mutually beneficial relationship. There can never be too many options when trying to find a quality cover for our boats. Companies with patterns for the older boats are especially hard to come by.

Do you happen to have a pattern for a 1971 Skier with a curved glass windshield?

We do have a pattern on the 71 Skier with the curved w/s. You can e-mail me at angolacanvas@verizon.net. I do apologize for getting my feathers ruffled. I guess I shouldn't just fire back without cooling off first.

Can we just ask Keith to delete this posting? It is outside of the intended use of the forums and it isn't at all as interesting since AngolaBob removed his insulting post :

"I will do so. We have been making covers for Mid West CC and CC Orlando for over 30 years so I thought I'd post our phone number as sort of a service. Thank you for having more tact than some with lower breeding."

and edited it with a :     "Thanks".......

Let's lighten up. This isn't the first time somebody that had something to offer/sell us was greeted by some enthusiastic members trying to protect the site and then responded with insults. Most these folks later become contributing members once they understand where everyone's coming from.

Welcome Bob. Did you make the green canvas covers that we used to buy from Correct Craft back in the 70's for our Barracuda?

Yes,we made some of them and we still carry the same green 100% cotton duck as well as grey and light tan.

Bob,
Since some of the post were edited I was doing this by memory. If I remember right you said your company was Angloa Canvas Company. I looked that up & found a different web site than the one that Air206 listed above. They are 2 different places. The other one is in Michigan & Angloa in Indiana. Are the 2 sites tied together?

Hey Greg:

The place I mentioned is a different one than Bob's. Can't offer a thumb's up or down on Angola but sure can give thumbs up to the Michigan folks at SkiBoatcovers. The covers fit great - great service too

Greg,

Our site is www.angolacanvascompany.com and is not affiliated with the previously mentioned site. We are located in beautiful Angola IN.
