I have the original automaitc switch that actually since I own the boat it has never worked good..you put the pump in automatic and if you have water it will start pumping it out....and cut, but then when it starts to take water again to the level that the switch should activate again, it doesn´t. These is the pic of the switch I have.

I I bought a couple of month ago an atwood or rule float type switch to replace this one but the thing is that the wiring differs, the old one has a 3 wire hook up and the new one has only 2 wires..How should I connect the new one to make it work as it should?

If you can sell the two wire pump and pick up a three wire Rule 500 automatic. They have three wires and have a small computer chip in them that allows for a cycle every two min and also has a manual option. Correct Craft is using the same pump only in a two wire function.

Seb,
You should have a wiring diagram or at least the 3 wires should be marked. One will be a ground, one will be the "hot" for automatic mode and the last one will be the "hot" for manual mode.

Seb,

Put a meter on the wires to confirm ....... should be pretty straightforward looking at wires and looking at voltage change during operation. You boat is gonna be tight and working great!
