Looks like there may be some competition for Best-of-Show at next years reunion. I came across this boat in the Diaries section. He's on Green Lake, and did not know of the reunion.

Steve,
I just extended him a email welcome. Hopefully I/we'll hear back from him.

Pretty boat. Planked hull instead of plywood. Not too many of those.

I too welcomed Don and his family to participate in the site.. He's good friends with the Norton family of Green Lake, and is excited to meet with all of us next summer in GL... Great looking boat, can't wait to see it..

I emailed him too after I spotted the boat in the Diaries. I pointed him to the Reunion page, but doesn't seem too fluid with the computer. Heven't heard back, we'll see what happens.

Sounds like Don was Spammed by the Fans, cause I also emailed him and directed him to the forums and reunion page when that ad popped.
He did reply with an "UNCLASSIFIED" response (military email address), sounds like we will be seeing Don and the 58' next summer.

Now that's just crazy, I emailed him and told him to beware of Hollywood and Quinner.

Thanks out there for all the positive hype, but I'm new to this site and am getting to know my way around.
To clarify, I will be keeping the CC with Joe Norton's boat works, I live in West Salem which is near La Crosse, but the river is NOT the place for a wood hull. I've known some of the Norton boys from back in the party DAZE of the 60s-70s and I'm originally from Markesan.
I plan on a couple of warm fall day runs on BGL yet this year.
Thanks again everyone! Don

I emailed him too!!!

Don,
Did you ever get my email responces from your emailing me through the CCfan site? Sometimes they don't go through and sometimes people don't recognize them as being replys. It was regarding you finding more about you boat. If you didn't get them, you can email me direct at pbrainard@wistool.com

Don,
Since you have access to the site, I'd say your password is good. I suggest emailing Keith direct and ask him how to proceed. Keep in mind that I believe he needs to change the picture. All diary submissions need to go through him so my guess is the same is true for changing pictures.

Modification work? Post some pictures in the forums as well (start a new thread). I hope they aren't very "drastic"!!
