I need a small amount of gelcoat for an '80 CC. Can CC match the color using the serial number of the boat?

I do not think Correct Craft sells gel repair kits
Looks like the gray hull.
In 1980 two choices were offered
Ivory Taffey
Gray
29 years or sun exposure has certainly had some effect on the gel.

Egon,
BJ is correct that you can't get the gel through Correct Craft. US Composites may or maynot have a color match but you'd end up getting a min. of a quart from them maybe even a gallon! Then there is Minicraft of Florida. They do sell quarts and may have a color match but in both cases the color has changed through the years. Minicraft also has a color matching service but you need to send them a sample the size of a quarter plus I believe $75!! If you only have small areas then marine supplies do have kits that you mix yourself.
What happened with JD doing your boat? More expensive that you anticipated?

I spoke with Art Cozir at CC in Fla. He said the color would have been called Arctic White.
Pete......
I found out my neighbor four places down form ours does wet sanding, buffing, and polishing. He did it for a "very good price". So I let him at it. Looks like new again except for three or four scratches that go down past the gel. If I find the material he will put that on for me too. I will try the marine supply route.
Thanks all......

As far as i am concerned Art Cozier is MR. Nautique. I have the upmost respect for him. What he says goes in my book. I would bet he has forgotten more about Correct Crafts than I have ever assumed to know. I have owned an 80 Nautique and a several 81's. Two grays and two Taffy Ivory. I only know what the catalogs refer to as hull colors.
