I am trying to locate a source, for the "Ski Nautique" decals. I also need the rear decal " Correct Craft competition ski boat" I am in the process of restoring a mid 70`s Nautique. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some of those older boats have the SN painted You might want masks or stencils and have it repainted. Stay tuned someone with more knowledge will chime in soon. If inpatient search the posts here as there is plnty of information to be found on this subject.

Joe,
The graphics on the sides and transom are paint. Is there anything left of the originals? If so, the best way is to trace what's left and get it to a side shop. They will scan the tracing, clean it up and then cut you a Gerber mask. It's a stencil specifically designed for paint.

The three decals on the sides towards the aft end are available. http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=6957 - pauly-banana has the flag and the AWSA and I have the larger size of "since 1925" which would be the correct size for a 70's.

Welcome to the site and how about some pictures of the project!

I've got the decals and can make stencils for you if you want to repaint them.

Thanks guys for the input. The boat currently has a large decal on the back, and it looks OK, but it has that cheap look. It has a large area around it of clear decal material. This would have been a great decal if someone had taken some time to trim the excess off. I was hoping that someone had reproductions, but it looks like I`m going to have to get the masking tape out and paint the lettering. I have did this before, on some other stuff. I guess if it was easy everyone would do it. I might get this thing restored with some CCF friends. Thanks!!!

Masking tape will give you a nasty edge. Get 3M's tape called the "Edge", it works great.

93 SN Decals

Any files on these? Or the font name? The decal shops can't seem to replicate mine. Purple splash effect

these are tricky ones..mine are in the same codition as yours....heve them duplicate is a difficult quest imo...
that splash effect is painted to the vynil or what ever material they are made off, In large quantities prices were ok, but if they are to do one set they will likely be very expensive...

Im also after a set of these, mine are not not in quite as bad condition but i cant see me getting the faded gel back around them without removing them. Even being very carefull i slightly burnt one letter last year.
Are the new 'ski nautique' lettering available from correct craft? Ive never been a huge fan of the purple sprayed in the middle as it looks like the boat has badly rubbed on a dock.

Hey KapIa. I believe the "purple splash" effect is just clear vinyl that lets the underlying color show through.
