My mom lives in a timber, with about an acre of lawn. Last weekend we cleaned lawn. Thought I'd post a few pics of the way we "rake" leaves up north....

Steve,
I have used the tractor blade for the same but you do end up with a few divits here and there. Now, if you could figure out how to get the set up to clean my gutters it would be great!

Mike, I cant take credit for the idea...my father started doing it years before he passed away. I did improve on the idea with the V plow tho..

Pete, we use the mower and a gas powered backpack blower to windrow the leaves onto the blacktop drive. No divots that way!

BTW, In the third picture where we are pushing the leaves, there is a retaining wall.... the leaves are actually 8 to 10 feet deep!

On those 8' footers Steve did you have to put your snow chains on?

Saturday is leaf raking day for me, no place to plow them though . . . up in smoke.

Pete

I think if you hooked a rope to the back end of the truck and the other end to a downspout then got a good running start.....you'd solve your gutter cleaning problems.

Oh....and Happy Birthday Wishes to both Chuck and Steve!

Thanks Moj'
You can make a fair representation of the mask with a paper plate, sort of an origami mask.

Somehow missed this Steve...hope you had a good one.

I know I owe you a call-back. But last week was "Groundhog" day for me. Remember the Bill Murray movie? Every day was just the same as the day before...crazy busy.
