My mom lives in a timber, with about an acre of lawn. Last weekend we cleaned lawn. Thought I'd post a few pics of the way we "rake" leaves up north....

I have used the tractor blade for the same but you do end up with a few divits here and there. Mike, I cant take credit for the idea...my father started doing it years before he passed away. I did improve on the idea with the V plow tho.. 
Pete, we use the mower and a gas powered backpack blower to windrow the leaves onto the blacktop drive. No divots that way! Steve, been there done that, nowadays I just use a leaf blower to push them to my neighbors yard.
