I am trying to order a cutlass bearing for my 85 2001 I think the size is 1" x 1.25 od x 4 " is this correct

Yes that is the typical size. I'd be real surprised if it wasn't!

I have found that the original one is one piece and the replacement is two short pieces. At least the one sold by SKIDIM. Dont let that shock you.

Some have been having tolerance problems with the two piece. I'd stick with the original 1 piece. Just because our boats are ski oriented, doesn't mean we need to go to Skidim. It isn't the only place to shop plus, they no longer support this site!!!
