I know we have the CCfan key floats so this may be of interest to some. Does anyone know of a source for the clear plastic holders you put the state rgistration card in and then put it on your key chain? The marinas used to give them away! I did a search and couldn't find anything. I'm thinking some with the CCfan logo on them would sell good in the store. I'm willing to contribute to the cost so they can then be sold by Keith. Would they sell?

Sure Pete I'm game I'd also like to throw in the idea of a CCFan license plate or plate frame. I know that you guy's up North are required to have a plate on the front and rear of your car but down here in da' South ya don't. I'd like to sport one on the truck, the work car and on the boat trailer.

New Law here in NC
No license plate frames what-so-ever!
$150 fine
Because it covers the NC State name and also some cover the year stickers.
That SUCKS!!!!
I've got the 'buoy' type, and put my card in there .

That is ridiculous! Guess we'll have to make some that are oversized so they don't cover that stuff!

http://www.licenseplatesonline.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=L&Category_Code=Message - These guys will custom make frames. They will make "specially cut" ones to allow vision of stuff in the corners of the plates. Only $20 for one with volume discounts. I asked if they could reproduce the logo and they said yes.

Problem is some states are "Banning" them. CA and AZ I believe are the same way... No frames what-so-ever !!! Cool idea though...

And I thought that anti plate frame thing was only in Communist Taxachusetts.
As for the boat reg I laminated mine and velcro it to the glove box lid.

I don't even have a glove box on the Tique!! My X55 doesn't have one ether. The Atom does but I keep it's registration card in my wallet as I'm always there when it's on the water.

They started frowning upon my "it's on top of my refridgerator line" so I needed to keep it in the boat. Reg. kept getting wet, and one day I was poking around in the compartment and got the idea. My motorcycle one rides in the top of my helmet behind the lining.
