We need a marine carb for our Classic. It has an automotive Edelbrock currently and runs good. The best price I've found is at Summit which has Edelbrocks for $335 and Holleys for $475.
Are there any advantages of going with the Holley on an antique engine like the 312?

Bruce, if you decide on the edelbrock I have a 1409(I think that's the #) 600cfm that I shouldn't need again. It's in lightly used shape with an arrestor.

Greg, I'll email you.
Pete, I've got the set up on my 256, but the 312 intake is a marine intake and may be original.
