I am hoping to be there when Obama comes. I need to ask him what he will offer me in return for my vote and to keep it all transparent CSPAN is welcome to video it.

Peter, when I was a kid growing up in Mass, there were 2 pictures in most of my friends homes, JFK and Cardinal Cushing. I've always been amazed that people stuck by Teddy, but Massachusetts is so corrupt...

Yea, Like Nancy Pelosi is trading in that new jet for a pick up truck.
They actually blamed Scott getting elected on Bush Cheney on MSNBC. Hopefully November will get rid of some "been their way too long" out of touch with the people and replace them with folks with no adgenda, no ties, and a honest want to work for the people not just the party replacements. I'd like to see someone campaign with the promise of a self two term limit, no pension and promise to work for the people. If they get in and learn how to be a polititon from those who know how to play the game nothing will change. For the first time in the 10 years since I moved to MA, my vote counted.

A great read about politics and corruption in Mass is "The Brothers Bulger" by Howie Carr. As interesting as it is about the activities of some gansters, it lays out how Mass/Boston was run from the 50's to the 90's. Really unbelievable. ------------- |
