Welcome to CCfan. Great that you found the site. You will not find a better one for dealing with older CC's! We need pictures. Love to see what you have and what you're dealing with. Condition, etc. Get some pictures together a short story and submitted to Keith so he can enter your boat in the dairies. Regarding the floor brackets, if no one has a set, they can be fabricated. They are 1/4" x 2" aluminum bar. 4 countersunk holes (#10)from the top for screwing to the floor and 2 countersunk holes from the bottom for the knobs. 3/8" flatheads loctited in. In 64 CC would have used die cast metal knobs and then later in about 69-70 they went to plastic. | All I have a go on is a similiar boat I saw a few years back. My boat is similiar to a Baracudda SS with the center console and left hand steering . The current seats were done in 80's style and sit loose on the floor. How were the seats mounted if not on the aluminum bar stock stands that are available in reproduction? Anybody else out there have a Tahoe 160? |

Steven, I'm just down the road in Discovery Bay. I'd sure like to see that Tahoe sometime. I'm not aware of anyone on the sight with another tahoe of that vintage. Is this the one that was for sale in Lake Tahoe area? Would be really great to see pictures of the boat.
As for the seats. I'm guessing that they were probably similar on all the models in 64. There should be a few guys with 64s who can give you some help. If you are in a hurry, you might do a search on 64s in the diaries section and send a few private messages to the guys that own them. BKH ------------- Livin' the Dream |

I'd like to see pictures of the Tahoe, too! The one with the floor shifter and left hand drive is a rare boat. In the brochure, it looks like it only has one shifter. Is that correct and if so, does it also have a gas pedal?
I believe your boat would have had wood base buckets originally that were screwed to the floor. The metal frames you're talking about came out in the late 60s and were used into 70s and maybe beyond. They come up for sale on ebay and CCF occationally. And yes they bolted to the floor with aluminum strips with metal or plastic knobs. Christines may sell the strips you're looking for. Great boat.
