Hey Magic, 62 Wood, how was the wake up call this morning with crap falling off the shelves???? 4.3 magnitude quake right in your backyard in sleepy corn country...... Yikes.. My kids woke up and ran into our room. So much for sleeping till the alarm went off..

NO kidding, my bedroom hasn't rocked like that at 4am in a long time. We're about 15 miles from the epicenter and we shook pretty darn good. We live about 1 mile from the train tracks and I thought there was one coming through my backyard.

I was driving to work and didn't even know about it!! I just found out about it about 30 minutes ago. I'll have to give my daughter a call latter. She's at Northern Illinois U so she's real close to the epicenter!

Alan, that reminds me of the 2 1/2 men episode where Charlie thought it was him causing the shaking while he was in bed with his lady.

Was awake and on the computer when it occurred however had no idea it was an earthquake. It definitely rocked my house and made some crazy noises. Thought Maddie falling out of bed was the noise and ran upstairs to check on her, she was asleep and still in bed, didn't think much else of it, LOL.
