I heard there is a specific year that most boat companies switched from wood stringers to composite or fiberglass. Does anyone know what year that might have been???? I'm looking to purchase a used nautique or maybe an american skier and I'd like to know what I'm getting into. Any info would be greatly appreciated

correct craft switched to composites in 1993..
all pre 1993 will have wood so you will need to check floor condition.
about american skier no clue...
