Sadly Brian lost his life over the Easter weekend doing what he loved to do.

Attended his funeral yesterday in Tamworth we gave him a send off that he deserved and would have enjoyed.

A US driver sadly also lost his life at the same race meeting David Bryant aged 44 years.

Those guys had guts. Not many people, including me, would strap themselves into a little flat bottom boat like that at 200+ mph. I really enjoy the boat races, but this is an unfortunate and too common part of the sport.

Lewy,

Thanks for posting. If you love what you do in life, thats all that
really matters. And looks like he was having a time of his life.
He will be missed for sure.

Great post Mark..
It is sad to see men die when they love something that much. He did alot for powerboating and will be missed dearly. May he rest in peace..
