The original trailer for my Ski Nautique has 1 1/2" pipe trailer guides, one of which I had made up new to replace one that I was able to twist off bare handed. I was able to salvage one of the heavy black rubber sleeves that pad the guide, but can't find anyone that sells something like that. I guess I could secure a 2" PVC pipe over the top of the current pipe and then buy the standard "Boat Trailer Post Guide Pads ( 48" long, with CAPPED Top" http://www.veveinc.com/shop/customer/product.php?productid=455&cat=71&page=1 that I saw advertised. It would be easier if someone knew of where I could get another piece of the heavy black sleeve.

I checked the manufacturer and they are for going over 2" PVC.

They work just fine over the older CC guides. They work even better if you cap the metal guides with a piece of pvc first.
