What specific views do you need? My trans is out right now so I could get some shots of it and the mounts. Let me know if this helps.

Thats the best I've got. Sorry for all the dust. You might want to look the Form&Functions 2001 v-drive thread. I think he had a few shots in there before he tore it apart.
What exactly are you looking for? There are plenty of folks here who can help out.

I'm trying to compare the style used and will probably need some actually mounted in hull as well to see how adjustable in most installations. Thanks

Take a look at http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=6037&KW=alignment&PID=58701&title=span-classhighlightalignment-span#58701 - Eric's alignment thread and it may have some pictures you may find interesting. Your Tech may want to look at them too. I thought you solved the problem by cutting out the vertical leg of the cradle? BTW, that's the leg you really don't want to cut out. Now the cradle isn't spreading any fore to aft load at that point.

No problem solved at this point, speaking to each other will solve nothing at this point. I will get to the problem with mounting with the help of everybody here ( appreciate all the imput ! ). I can confront him with this issue when I am better informed then he. I'm pretty stubburn, compulsive and a perfectionist ( wife hates it ! ), but will take this challenge to learn more. I can say already the pics provided is not the set of mounts on this transmission. I did not have to cut vertical inside walls entirely ( only maybe 2 1/2" down and retained the top portion for mount to rest on. Thanks Steve

Somebody could have tried a 1.23 conversion only to fail then sold it to a unsuspecting buyer but my first guess would be a owner cheaping out installing what he could get his hands on easy.

AMS,
This photo wasn't taken at your request so it may not show you what you need. I can probably get another photo tonight if you still need help.

Thanks Everybody, I had to take a break. It was starting to consume too much of my attention (frustrated) and have other jobs to attend to. I have not seen the mount configuration that I recall seening when in lift. The mounts ( pictured here from side view ) would appear to start at top of cradle and extend downward to bottom of cradle. The transmission housing is much smaller in these pics as well. Is this the Velvet drive set up ? Is there a site with pics of different mounts / transmissions available over the years and application. Thanks Again, Steve
