I am considering using this for my exhaust on the 71SN, 3-inch 304 stainless 16 gauge: eBay item #280501752589. I plan on using a continuous length (6'-6") from the rubber at the exhaust manifold through the transom. Good material or bad? Any comments recommendations?

Frank,
It's good. It's 300 series. The only thing better in stainless would be type 316 but you wouldn't want to pay for it! It would be overkill anyway.
