Correct Craft Fans,

This was made known in the oil change thread, but I figured I would let everyone know in the main thread. VR1 and all valvoline racing oils are 50%off right now at autozone. Limit 12 per day, but I went ahead and bought 2 cases today. 12 at 2 stores. Normal price here is 4.29/quart, current price is 2.15/quart.

Get on autozone's website, you never know it should still be better than the 11 bucks in argentina.

Made 3 stops yesterday on my way home from work. The first store was sold out, and as I approached the oil wall at the second I thought I was out of luck again, but it turned out to be the 50W they were out of. Stopped again at the next one for another 12. There are 2 more stores here I'm swinging by at lunch, my trunk is starting to get full though. The PLBC boats will be stocked for a while.

I went tonight and found a store Hollywood hadn't been to yet. Bought all they had,28 qts. They told me that they weren't going to carry it anymore, thats why they were selling it off. I told them with the amount they have been selling I'd bet they would start carrying it again. Both 20w50 and 50w were on sale.

There's only 3 stores in Maine, one store within 50 miles of me and they only had 15 qts for their big sale. The manager said he'd order another case. I asked him to order 3 and one of the other guys said he didn't think they could get any more. The sale goes to the end of the month.

funny thing, i save my old oil for instances of a situation i had in the last couple weeks, an aftercooler blew and spewed water into the crankcase....I'll be dammed if I'm going to do 4 oil changes with new oil to get water out of a block...the naysayers always come around and ask why you would do such a thing, obviously i put fresh Rotella on the last one.
