Hello, I need to replace the throttle cable on my 83 SN. Does anybody know the proper length for this cable? I have an aftermarket Chevy 350 motor. Should be very similar to where the stock location had the cable routed through the wire bundle coming up through the Air box.

From what I can gather this looks to be the right one, it's from West Marine which is not favorite idea, but I need to be able to pick it up. I have to be on the water this weekend, so no time for the internet.

it is a 17' foot version, which from what I can gather is the right size for my 83 SN

Okay just confirmed it is a 17' foot cable. Originally came with the 33cc red cable from morse which is now teleflex.

Yes they are 17 Foot, i just put 2 new ones in, went for the Supreme version though as there's quite a few tight corners, i think they made a massive difference
