Marty,
The angle of the photo doesn't show me the covering boards on the bow deck which would be a clue to the model. Are they raised? It is 50's though.

Doesn't your customer know or is this one of your quiz's?

Late 40's - early 50's Quite possible a Riviera.   The small one, 16ft.
One piece Cutwater, protruding chine cap.
More than likely a Deluxe Runabout.

On second glance, nope, not a Riviera.
'48-'49 Deluxe

A quiz for ya. I'll take more pics for ya. It is longer than 16' though I think.

He couldn't have owned it for years, like a long, long time. The registration numbers have two letters behind them. Your boat and mine were registered in 1966, which have one letter behind the numbers.

I feel Al's got it as a late 40's early 50 Deluxe Runabout. They were 17'. Marty,
Does it have a protruding cover over the carbs on the aft deck engine hatch? That will determine which engine he got it with.

Tim,
The owner could have purchased it in another state and moved to NC at a later date?
