do you plan on running the boat in salt water? if you just needed a water supply to run the engine while on the trailer occasionally, tune-ups, winterization and such then I all ways just disconnected the pick-up hose at the thru hull fitting at the back left side of the tranny and attach a garden hose to it an tighten up thehose clamp so it would leak work pretty good for me.

Now if you needing to flush the engine regular because of salt, then I would add a flush pro or make my own attachment from the plumbing supply section of lowes or any other megalo mart.
