This one is not on my list of projects to tear into but I did pick up my second boat of the year off the interesting craigslist finds thread last friday.

This 72 mustang came with a poor and unoriginal trailer, a crunchy floor, and a basket case interior.

It was however the only running correctcraft I had in the water for memorial day weekend.

The price was right and the potential is there to actually go mostly original with this one... so now I have the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s covered... should be enough projects for at least a decade..

Looks great sitting in the water, Joe- much better than on that trailer!    I do love those early 70's monotone boats... and that light blue is a looker.

I dont see it in your post anywhere- somehow you failed to mention that this one is bowtie powered. Will it break 40?

Haha you didnt even look under the hood????? Thats one bad little daddy as said before those monotone early 70's boats are quickly becoming one of my personal faves. The more I see the better I like them. And that blue just put me over the top!

Very cool boat Joe!
You will have to get one of those old CC factory delivery trailers to haul all those boats. I was thinking of a future Masters. You could represent CCFan and cover four decades by yourself.

Very nice Joe. Get all those bad boys (bad girls??) whipped into shape and you could be a one man Masters Tournament show next May.

“So, how was your weekend?”
“Well, let me see…sun burn, stiff neck, screwed up back, assorted aches and pains….yup, my weekend was great, thanks for asking.”

Original...yes.

Except for a H/M 351 that is begging to be dropped in it.

Very nice. I too am a fan of matching decks and hulls. I'd love to get a Mustang like that for the kids to use in a few years.
