Help. Replies: Posted By: mrese Date Posted: June-02-2005 at 7:45pm there should be some vertical movement. You could try repacking the rudder. Chances are the old packing has deteriated away over time and needs to be replaced. Try about 4 rings of packing rope and see if it improves things.
